Humana is one of the main providers of senior health insurance plans including Part D prescription coverage, medicare advantage and medicare supplement policies.
Humana requires an extensive process to become certified to represent their products which are competitively priced and offer among the best coverage in the industry. We are honored to be able to offer these products to consumers while also providing similar products with other great carriers so our clients can have the best plans to choose from in the marketplace.
We represent such quality companies as United Healthcare, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and others to give consumers a number of viable options group health insurance to senior healthcare insurance. Humana offers 3 different Part D plans for choosing that range from a very modest premium plan called the Humana Walmart Prescription Rx plan for a low monthly premium in San Diego county of about 18.00 or so. There is a 325.00 annual deductible and a more limited formulary. Consumers with minimal prescription or generic needs may find this plan perfectly acceptable with the ability to upgrade to a broader and higher cost plan during an open or special enrollment period.
Additional Part D plans include both the Enhanced and Complete plans offered by Humana which offer more comprehensive formulary coverage but depending on prescriptions you may get the sufficient coverage under a less expensive Enhanced plan versus the more costly Complete plan.
Human also offers may different medigap options including plans f with a high deductible, K, N, L, A, B, C, and the most comprehensive overall plan F. These plans will cover the gaps that qualified individuals have with both parts of medicare A & B.
In addition Humana also offers a few different medicare advantage plans such as Humana Gold Plus HMO zero premium plans and a POS Gold Plus plan for about 39.00 per month.
